I'm not great at it, I rarely finish a project, and if I do finish something it never really comes out the way it is supposed to, but for me that's just fine. Don't get me wrong, if I could knit and have it come out perfectly I would but honestly it's just the act of knitting that I love.
For me my weakness is hats. There is something fun about using circular needles and continuously knitting and never having to stop, change hands, flip things around and all the other stuff I always have to end up doing when I use straight needles. Double pontes needles? Don't get me started on them. I have the hardest time using those things. Half the time I forget what I'm supposed to do, divide all the stitches up and then use those same needles to knit only to realize all my stitches ended up on one needle and now I'm stuck.
But it's fun. Through all the trial and error, it's amazingly fun to take a small ball of yarn and see it transform into an article of clothing.
